Fire Season Recap:
The 2024 fire season was one of the busiest on record in Oregon and Idaho. In 2024 there was 54,769 fires burning 8,503,953 acres across the country, 1,900,000 acres burned in Oregon. The Park Fire in Northern California burned 429,603 acres, the Park Fire was the largest wildfire of California’s 2024 wildfire season and the fourth largest in California history.
